Good Day Microsoft Gurus
I have two separate domains, a Production and a DEV. I have a one way Trust set up so that the DEV environment can use Prod accounts, It works well. I have this one issue where I am trying to get a service on a DEV system to run under a Prod account. whenever I apply it I get "he specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted". Yet, when I browse for the account, it finds it just fine. It is when I apply the new account to the "log on" for the service" I can log on to the system with the account just fine. I am wondering if it has something to do with the system itself not have sometime of permissions?
The domains are
dev.mydomain.com
corporate.mydomain.com
I have a rule in the firewall to allow all traffic between this system and the domain controllers in the corporate domain
Anyone point me in the right direction?
