Hi
So we have this Dell 2400 desktop for long time and back in 2013 we removed everything from it and computer people (2 different companies) checked it out too. We did all updates but we haven't used computer since 2014 but with that being said we use it for internet wifi connections only. The system is Windows XP Professional version 2002.

However, the C drive saying running low on space even thou we haven't used it (Windows antivirus updates ran out probably back in 2014 and was never updated since the computer was turned off) and we were trying to do updates on antivirus software, internet explorer, Google chrome, etc for free but unsure how to move forward since we need everything working right so we can do WiFi calling, watch YouTube videos, etc while making sure the plugs and extensions are up-to-date like everything else...we can not even use Google hangouts, voice, gmail, etc for WiFi calling, YouTube to watch videos, etc.

So for the Microsoft Windows XP version is there a free version for help to upgrade (everything) OR do we have to buy a whole new unit while keeping the monitor? Speed running slow too due to everything.

Do we need to remove programs listed below:

Windows Internet Explorer 8-- last used 2012
Google Chrome--last used 2013
Dell Printer-been disconnected for years--last used 2012
Mozilla Firefox 33.1.1 (x86 en-US)---last used 2015
Hp printer--been disconnected for years---last used 2015

* Moved from IE8/XP
