Problems unlocking device

I'm trying to get into my HP Stream 7. However, I'm unable to sign onto the device (I'm assuming this is the local password.) I know my microsoft password and enter it here and it doesn't work. I don't remember which password I use to log into the device. When I enter a password, I get a message that says "Your PC is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this PC." There is no option to reset the password. What can I do?
