Hello, I have a 1TB HDD and the problem is the boot-up process is very slow.
What I tried:
1. Clean boot
2. Remove unnecessary startup things
3. I ran chkdsk
4. Cleaned big chunks of temp files using CCleaner
5. Defrag the drives.
It improves a little bit but just a bit. After booting up it took another 30sec-1min to show the lock screen, after that, I can't open an app because everything is still loading up and I tried to check what's happening via task manager and I can see that the disk is at 100% so I need to wait another 2-5 mins. Also opening an app is really painful because it will take a minute or two again before it opens. Is this normal for an HDD? I have lots of space within the HDD and I have 8GB of ram.
for my D DRIVE:
for my C DRIVE:
Is my drive slow or this just really the normal read and write of an HDD?
