I've recently brought an old (>4 years) computer out of storage, although old it has more than sufficient processor, RAM and hard disk capacity to run Windows 10 but it currently has Vista. I bought a copy of Windows 10 and then looked into how to load it. In the absence of upgrading through Windows 7 to Windows 10 the advice appeared to be a clean install via a flash drive. I've followed the steps but when I try to boot from the USB the computer obviously doesn't recognise anything on the flash drive. Can anybody help please?
