I've unchecked Enable Peek under Performance Options Visual Effects. But I still see thumbnails of my applications when I hover over them on the taskbar.

I have:

1. Press WINDOWS + R

2. Type "gpedit.msc" without quotes and press ENTER
3. Click "Administrative Templates" under "User Configuration"
4. Click "Start and taskbar"
5. Double click "Disable taskbar previews"
6. Click "Enable"
7. Click "Apply"
8. Reboot

I have:

1. Open Registry Editor by running regedit command.

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.

3. In the right pane, find or create registry QWORD named DisablePreviewWindow.

4. Double click on it and set its Value data to 1.
