I've been trying to update an HP Pavilion Slimline computer from the Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 to Windows 10 Home Premium. The computer hardware exceeds all of the requirements for Windows 10.
I thought it would be straight forward. (P.S. I have 40 years of technology experience in the Federal Government.)
I purchased the Windows 10 Home Premium software through my Microsoft.com Account. I then proceeded to Download it to the computer. (I tried a direct Downloads to a large capacity thumb drive and a CD-R. Both did not have enough capacity.)
I have an ISO File that is 1,753,148KB in size. I plan to Burn it to a 2GB CD-R or DVD-R disc.
I've updated the WinZip Software on my computer, I guess to "Un-Zip" the ISO File? When I attempt an Un-Zip Action (Open With), I keep getting the Message "This version of WinZIp requires Windows Vista Platform Update or Windows 7 or Later.
Huh??? I'm running a Windows Vista SP2 System. I'm baffled where to go from here.
NEED HELP... PLEASE!!!???
Thanks Ed DeLong
