After installing Windows 10 update version 2004, most of the live tiles on my start menu have stopped working. I have tried : turning off then on the live function and resetting the apps. The only tile that still works for some reason is Photos which cycles through some of the images in my Pictures folder, just as before.
The other tiles just show static icons. Among the specific changes I noticed:
Mail - prior to update showed details from latest emails
Microsoft News - used to show latest articles
Weather - used to show the local temperature
and even
Netflix and Spotify used to show last played or recommended.
I realize this is a minor issue. The apps themselves still work normally when opened (with the exception of Tune In but that's another story) but I liked the live tile feature and it's disappointing to see it go.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any recommendations for a possible fix?
