Bluetooth Keyboard Latency Issue after Win 10 laptop wakes up from sleep

Hey everyone, I have searched this forum and googled everywhere else for a solution to a very specific issue with Bluetooth keyboard connection to Win 10 laptop but so far no luck.

I have a Win 10 home edition laptop with the latest Win 10 release as of today (Aug 2020) and I am experiencing Bluetooth keyboard slow response to key stroke after the laptop wakes up from sleep. The first few key strokes have no immediate response and then 1-2 seconds later the letters show up all together. Then afterwards typing is fine until a short 1-2 seconds' pause after finishing a sentence the symptom repeats itself. This becomes very annoying when I browse the web page and use control key and mouse wheel to zoom in and out. First a couple of scrolls won't zoom pages but scroll up or down to undesired location instead. Then the page starts zooming in and out at wrong timing.

Here are troubleshooting methods I have tried so far:

1) I restart the laptop, the BT keyboard just works fine. Once I put the laptop to sleep and wake it up, the problem starts and persists unless I reboot the laptop. So, it seems the problem only happens after sleep/wake cycle.

2) When the problem starts, I tried another BT keyboard. The problem persists on the other BT keyboard. So, the problem is not for a specific BT keyboard.

3) I connected my BT keyboards to my MacBook Pro and iPhone. Both work perfectly fine all the time without latency. Sleep/Awake or not. So, the issues are not my BT keyboards.

4) I ran Win 10 troubleshoot on both Power, Keyboards and Bluetooth. None issues were found.

5) I turned off BT and then back on. The problem persists.

6) I went to Intel website to download the latest greatest BT driver. Reboot my laptop. Keyboard works fine, but after sleep/awake, the problems starts and persists. So it is not BT driver issue.

7) I check Win 10 update and security. Everything is most up to date. No updates available for installation.

8) I went to device managers to make sure bluetooth device power management option shows "don't turn off device to save batteries".

9) I reset keyboard to manufacture setting just in case. Not surprisingly it does not solve the problem.

10) I ran 'sfc /SCANNOW' on Windows command. It shows no incompatible issues.

I am really out of ideas now. Again, the BT keyboard latency issues only shows after wake up from sleep.

Wonder if anyone can offer more insights. Thanks much in advance !!!
