hi there
I am new to this forum and frustrated about recent Windows issues. I have been using Windows10 for some with no major issues. However, recent Windows updates have given me nothing but issues. I will try to explain as much as possible.
My Work and Home PC specs
- Windows10 Pro 64-bit
- Microsoft Edge is up to date. Version 84.0.522.61 (Official build) (64-bit)
- 32GB Ram
- Patched to-date
Issue-1
I have been using Windows Remote Desktop Connection for a long time to connect from Home to work until recent Windows update. Now every 3rd time I connect, I get an error "Because of a protocol error (code: 0x112f), the remote session will be....). After spending hours trying to fix this issue and thought I found a solution using "Windows10 Remote Desktop", but it does not support Dual Monitors. So I am lost again.
Issue-2
When "Remote Desktop Connection" was working well, I used to have multiple windows opened on dual monitors and was able to go back (reconnect RD) at any time with those opened windows as it was. However, with the recent updates, I have not been able to keep the opened windows as it was, but they all cramp into a single primary monitor. Why????
Seriously **** going on with these updates? Are we meant to go in circles?
I was meant to get on with my work of the day, but these constant issues keep my focus away from working but keep finding solutions to Microsoft issue.
Hope someone can advise me a working solution. Please don't ask me to install any 3rd party applications.
Thanking you
