Hello. Due to my need of turning on my desktop (with an Intel i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz) for 24/7, I have searched the internet and learnt to set my Maximum Processor State to a lower percentage in the Power Plan panel. It actually helped and my CPU temperate is around 36C - 41C (i.e. 96.8F - 105.8F).
However, the website suggested not to set the state lower than 75% because 'it may cause damage to the CPU'. It sounded nonsense to me, yet I want to confirm what is the lowest percentage I could set to lower my CPU temperature while not damaging my CPU?
