Windows Vista. How to uninstall Windows Media Player ????

Somehow my computer was dropped to Factory Settings. It seemed to me that this would help get rid of viruses. Before, I just used the Internet and thought that everything was fine with me. But then I realized that I was not protected from viruses. And I decided that the computer would look good at Factory settings in order to throw viruses and all unnecessary from the Computer System. Viruses there were terrible (whole chains of Trojan virus programs, WannaCry, * exe files and other old viruses that I somehow had, but then were deleted by the Antivirus program.) I know that I did not turn on the Antivirus program for a long time, so it took some time did not work. But I didn't know about it.

It seemed to me that everything went well. But then programs from Microsoft began to download, which required confirmation. And the main download of the programs was successful, but there were problems with Windows Media Player! I think it did not load correctly. I don't know why this happened.

How do I re-download Windows Media Player? How do I update Windows Media Player? Can Windows Media Player be uninstalled? Then download it back, but so that it works.

I have no sound on my computer. Could this be due to Windows Media Player? But the sound doesn't work in Winamp either.

How do I uninstall Windows Media Player? If it is not at: Start, Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features! (In uninstalling programs it is not! As if Windows Media Player did not load into this folder.)

That is, Windows Media Player is available only at the address: Computer, Vista (C :), Program Files, Windows Media Player. But he is nowhere else.

How do I uninstall this Windows Media Player so that I can download it again without crashing?

I just don't like that when I click on the button to open Windows Media Player, nothing happens! As if Windows Media Player is not.

I want to say that the return of the computer to its original state (to Factory settings) was done by a programmer with 4 years of experience. And then I had to download all the programs again and there was a problem loading Windows Media Player.

It was a reinstallation of Windows Vista. As it seemed to me then, there should have been no problems with reinstalling.

Can I delete the entire Windows Media Player folder from the Program Files folder? She retire? Or not leave? How do I download Windows Media Player then?

I really like Windows Vista! I'm in love with Windows Vista! So don't suggest installing Windows 10 !!!!
