Microsoft does not even offer support for Win98 anymore, so this is
bogus. Even if it is legit, it's only for XP and Vista (and maybe
Win2k...... Does MS still support Win2K????? ).

MS also does NOT email out security updates. This has been well
publicised and should bring up an immediate red flag to anyone who
should get one.

I agree. Perhaps some newsserver deleted the virus if there was one.
Hell, the zip file is only 1 bytes, so that would be a micro-fmicro-micro
virus.

do it! Go directly to the to the website yourself using the address bar.
Common sense will tell you to do this!

The email you got is bogus and a way to get information from you or to give
your computer and everyone you email a virus, Trojan or spyware. Wise up!!
