win98

I have two different cd's with the win98. when i try to install it is like
everyother cab can't be installed therefore the win98 isn't installed, I have
my keycode just need a good copy of win98

Please repost with the exact error message you are receiving.

when it is transfer the files in the cabs it say it can't read retry, skip,
cancel. It does this all thru the 21 to 23 mins. it was like my cd is
scratched do to age. So just wanted to find a good copy.

Yes you will get that error if the cd is dirty or scratched...
it will also happen if your CD rom is bad .

Try copying the setup files to your harddrive and installing from there.

Finally: That error could also be caused by bad RAM

Try the disks in a known good computer. If they are indeed damaged,
you might try contacting Microsoft about a replacement.
