Hello!
After i've got my laptop back from service, I noticed that i cannot use my fingerprint to Sign-In Windows, and only PIN/password is available
I think i tried ALL the possibilities:
1. Uninstall - Restart - Install driver from Asus website
2. Change settings into Services, and then into regedit, on the Biometric Devices class: 53d29ef7-377c-4d14-864b-eb3a85769359
3. Uncheck "Turn on fast startup (recommended) " box into Power Options - System Settings
4. Logout and Sign in with a local account in windows
My system info is:
In device manager under Biometric Devices i have my ELAN WBF Fingerprint Sensor driver installed but the icon has a Warning sign and the message on the Properties sections is looking like that:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful."
Also, on Event Viewer i've got this:
Device ACPI\ELAN7001\4&1787cdf4&0 had a problem starting.
Driver Name: oem10.inf
