Hi all,
I have an old HP laptop which was originally supplied with Vista. I upgraded that successfully to Windows 7 and then to Windows 10. All was well until it started installing updates to Windows 10. First I lost the sound and now I have lost the use of the keyboard and touchpad. I have tried everything suggested on various websites. They work for a while but always, after the computer sleeps or is shut down I lose sound, keyboard and touchpad. The HP website says it no longer supports my laptop with driver updates.
I would like to revert to Windows 7 as I assume everything will work again. Ca I do that with the Vista product key on the back of the laptop? I legitimately upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, but I no longer have any documentation of the upgrade as it was quite a few years ago.
