For the third time, my computer restarted and I lost everything. ALL of my desktop apps and taskbar items were gone. My background was gone as well. All of my downloads, documents, picture folders are empty. My browers all have reset and I have lost all of my saved links, again. Thankfully most of my docs are in the cloud, but having my browser links disappear is a mess.
I tried looking into the recovery option and nothing showed up. I have Windows 10, version 1909 (Build 18363.1082)
There was no reason for everything to restart.
It did do an update before the first time this happened, but when it happened, there was no place to go back and undo, in case something happened and that is what caused this.
I have no idea how to fix, but cannot keep doing this. It seems that just as I get things back, it does it again.
I work from home and need my computer to be working. This is more than frustrating.
I don't know where to go from here. I have been dealing with this for about 3 weeks now and it is disrupting my work.
Please help!!
