My computer has recently started having an issue with pixelated and distorted display colours, where sections of the screen (e.g. objects in a web page) are replaced by colourful pixels. This issue mostly occurs in Firefox, but also appears on the Windows login screen when I wake my computer up from sleep mode, or the display turns on after being turned off due to inactivity.
The display usually goes back to normal if I close and open the affected window, select the affected object or run the mouse cursor over the distorted colours.
See the links below for examples:
I haven't made any updates recently, other than standard Windows 10 updates. My graphics card is Nvidia Geforce RTX 2700, with the latest drivers. My system is an HP OMEN 15-dh0xxx. Many thanks!
