Dste Modified listing with Home Premium

I am finding that many of the folder windows that open in Vista do not have a
Date Modified listed in the Details view. I have to right-click and go to
Properties to find the information. Can someone tell me how to control this?

Add it.
right-click on the Name column heading, select "Date Modified"
