Limit audio output of programs to L / R

I'm using Windows 8.1.


For example I would like to have all of Google Chrome's audio on the left channel, and Windows Media Player in the right.

The Volume Mixer only allows me to control the loudness but not the mixing.


Is there an update that allows that, or any 3rd-party application that allows that? It seems to be the simplest thing ever, to adjust balance of sounds...

My Volume Mixer just ignores any volume mixing and only allows me to mute the entire computer. Is there a thing i can do to fix this?
