I dropped my screen and had it replaced recently but the HID-Compliant touchscreen driver is missing.
Product Info: HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-dr0xxx
Here's what I've done so far
Device manager - looked for hidden devices, none there
Reset Windows - no luck
Factory reset - no luck
When I do a component test the touch screen works, when I am outside of the component test the touch screen does not work.
I have checked for updates, tried troubleshooting, tried the registry editor, I have read through what feels like every forum but no suggestions work. I don't get why my touch screen works when I do a component test but doesn't work otherwise.
How can I reinstall the driver?
