XP in the wild. Medical equipment.

Hello. I'm in the business of refurbishing used medical equipment. Most of these machines are designed for Windows XP and cannot be upgraded. The licenses on this equipment are irreplaceable. Is there an actual fix for this. This is high dollar medical equipment that a logic issue is preventing its use. Once changing hardware such as drives and ram the system locks me out and demands activation. I have used rundll32.exe syssetup,OobeBnk as a workaround by creating a .bat file and putting it in the startup folder. Is this the best we can do? It's not really a solution. Is there any way to completely delete XP activation and make it geniune. I had to break into the system using the startup disk because i didn't know the password, create an administrator account, boot to safe mode and run the command with privilege. I don't understand why is this even an issue. Is there a software that breaks this. These licenses were paid for long ago. Most of them are still on the box. Can I re-enter them with new hardware? We use what still works to build machines out of it. Medical equipment used to help people in developing countries depends on this hardware. I am trying to provide a worthy service. I am stuck using XP. What can I do? Please advise.
