Hi,
The specification of my system are as follows
Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop
Intel Core i7-7700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Windows OS build 19041.508 (Version 2004)
The issue started after installing the latest windows update.
All my video playback, regardless of the source (Youtube, Neftlix, VLC, Windows Media Player...ect) shows up as a black screen with just the audio playing. This issue persists on both the native apps and the web versions of the platforms mentioned above.
The screen also changes the colour temperature from time to time while loading webpages and while changing tabs in the browser, the webpage momentarily goes to black until the cursor is moved again.
I have updated my video drivers with no change in results.
I also tried uninstalling my integrated (intel 660) graphics display adapter. This solved the issue by using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, but the uninstalled intel display adapter reinstalls automatically and the issue returns.
A fresh install of windows was also to no avail.
Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.
