Win98 Upgrades Service Pack & IE6

I just downloaded the Win98 Service pack (complete) that someone put
together from all the MS Upgrades. When MS still had these upgrades
on their website I got most of them. Maybe all of them, but I really
dont know if I got all of them or not, since they used to come a
little here and a little there. Is it safe to just run the whole
thing now?

Also, I got the complete installer for IE6. I never upgraded to IE6
and have always run 5.5. I have always been afraid of IE6 because of
the problems it had, but I heard the earlier problems were solved, so
I guess I'll give it a try. I was wondering if it has the "go back"
option, if it fails (go back to the previous version). I got this
directly from MS, and had to use one of the tricks I found on a
website to download the file, NOT install it from the internet. (Being
on dialup, I hate large programs that install online). Of course I
got the Win98 ver.

Lastly, I got IE6 (Sp1). Does anyone know if there were upgrades for
IE6, and should I install IE6 before I run the Win98 Upgrades, or
after?

I usually use Firefox anyhow, but I may as well upgrade IE.

By the way, the problem I had with my F: partition losing the FAT
tables has not re-occurred. I got everything backed up just in case.
I replaced the HD cable, and it's been running 24/7 since.

IE6 runs fine on win98

I have also tried the unofficial update and it worked OK for me.

when you are done...still give Windows Update a try
as the unofficial update pack (at least the one I tried) did not include all
updates
