I am running a MacBook Pro 2016 on Windows 10 BootCamp and am having issues connecting to my external display (Sceptre C27). I know the issue is not with the cable because I have tried two new USB C - DP cables. On Bootcamp, HDMI works perfectly fine and on Mac, the monitor connects with no issues. However, on Windows, the monitor will turn on for a couple of seconds and then both of my screens (Monitor and Mac screen) go black. During this time when the screens go black, the monitor shows that video is being outputted but the screen is black. Whenever this happens, I am forced to restart my Mac because its screen goes black and theres no way to bring it back. I have tried updating drivers, different ports on the computer, and resetting the monitor to factory settings but no luck. Any suggestions?
