USB webcam not working properly in Windows 10, no Internet solution seems to work

Hey guys,

I've had a Sandberg webcam (1080P HD 133-96) for a couple of months now and have always had some issues with it, but most of the times plugging it out and in seemed to fix any issues I've had.

However lately the webcam has stopped working properly - it only works for a couple of seconds after plugging it in and then eventually freezes. If I don't start it in that time, it will just show a black screen when opening any app that accesses it. Quick summary:

- My PC recognizes the webcam as one. All drivers are up to date.

- When launching the Camera app on PC, it initially showed only a blue screen and wasn't doing anything (until I unplug it, then it rightfully says it registers no webcam)

- After trying a lot of things, the Camera app now simply says that another app is using the camera, which is quite simply not true (troubleshooted that too through everything I found online)

- Discord is the only app that now registers the webcam, while previously showing me only a black screen

- OBS and SLOBS (streaming softwares) also show me a black screen on my webcam

- When I try and go into video settings in some apps such as Zoom (and sometimes SLOBS), they quite simply freeze and stop responding

- I also sometimes get "USB device not recognized" as an error upon starting my PC, regardless of which USB port I have it plugged in. An issue that doesn't occur on my laptop where it works perfectly fine.

I have tried restarting PC, uninstalling/reinstalling webcam, I've watched all YT videos on "How to fix your webcam" but have found no success.

The webcam works perfectly on my **** laptop, but not on my good PC.

I've been banging my head against the wall for a solid 8 hours now, any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
