Windows 7 used to show the properties of a file or shortcut on the desktop when I hover my mouse over it, Windows 10 does not.

Is there any way/setting to make Windows 10 behave like Windows 7.


I really liked in Win 7 when I hovered my mouse curser over an icon (spreadsheet, .exe, etc) it would show me the info like date modified, file size, etc.


Windows 10 does not do this nor can I find a way to do it.


Any help?
