'Options' to ' Add a keyboard ' is missing/not available in my version of Windosw 10

I am running an up to date version of Windows 10 on an Acer Aspire V5. The keyboard is set to English (United States), but I want to add/activate the ' International Keyboard ' option to give me easy access to accented characters. I have researched this extensively online, and I have followed the necessary steps from the 'Settings' menu, Time & Language, Regions etc., but ultimately the box marked ' Options' is simply not there. It appears to be missing from my version of the operating system. Do I need to download an additional software 'pack' ? I have looked online, but I can't find anything relevant. Many thanks.
