Hey folks!
I've been struggling with this one for a while now, my LifeCam stops working after some time when I turn auto exposure off in the configuration. It's seemingly still connected, lights up when I try to activate it, but does not show any camera feed at all. As I said this happens after a seemingly random amount of time once I have turned auto exposure off or immediately if I deactivate and reactivate the camera in any software using it. Once this happens, the only way to get the webcam to work again is to unplug it then plug it back in. Tried it in several different USB slots.
Auto exposure itself seems to be performing poorly, drastically and visibly changing settings even when the light sources are constant. I suppose a solution to this problem would also work as I could just carry on using auto exposure.
Thanks for any help in advance!
