Hello, after trying to fix the precision touchpad on my Dell XPS 13 9360 (rightclick and scrolling were not working) by installing different touchpad drivers which rightly stated were incompatible, the entire touchpad feature has disappeared in my Windows 10 settings, and in the Device Manager it only recognises my external mouse, while the PS/2 compatible mouse driver is hidden. The HID-compliant mouse driver for the touchpad has completely disappeared in Device Manager. Also in BIOS, the touchpad does not even appear to exist.
I have done a reset of the laptop, reinstalled Windows 10, reset BIOS to manufacturer settings, and have done a full scan and reinstallation of all updated drivers through Dell Command Update and the Support Assistant. Even a special hardware scan does not recognise the touchpad. I have tried installing so many touchpad drivers now, but nothing helps. Would anyone know?
