Reset Windows 8.1 - Now Have an Windows 8 and Cannot Update

I first encountered this problem when trying to previously update my laptop (HP Envy dv4 Notebook PC - Intel i5-3210M CPU, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000) which was running Windows 8.1 at the time, however I kept receiving an error code and was unable to update it. I was also unable to run the regedit application for some reason as it stated that it was not made for my version of Windows. I ran the update troubleshoot countless times and tried updating after each try, but it still did not work. I even tried doing a sfc scan and defragging my harddrive (700gb).

My last option was to completely wipe my laptop and I first created a installation media on my flash drive using the steps from:(Download Windows 8.1 Disc Image (ISO File))

I then proceeded to go into Settings and reset my laptop from there; it ran through the reset process just fine with no errors, but when it was done, my Windows didn't look the same as before. Turns out it is now in Windows 8 and I have no idea what to do now.

I tried updating it through the Settings but I kept getting error codes as before and tried the troubleshooter as well (which would say that it fixed the problems but it was still there). I also tried going through the bios with the Fn10 key and tried changing the Boot Configuration but it did not work either. I also attempted the Advanced Startup to try to update my laptop and even tried the repair option, and there was no prevail.

I still have the USB flash drive with the files, but I am unsure on what to do now.
Any help is appreciated,
- Jocelyn

Edit: I just checked the Control Panel and heres the list of updates I currently have
