Here is how you install the Windows Update KB935807 :

1. Go to: "C:\Windows\System 32\LogFiles"
2. In "LogFiles" folder, create a new folder named "Firewall"
3. Now try installing the Windows Update.

It should now install without any problems.

Shawn, you are a bloody legend! How did you figure that one out?

P.S. You wouldn't happen to know how I get rid of those 15 pesky language
updates that I have hidden 5 times already?

Q,

I can not take credit for it. I got this while I was on a blog with
Kim from Norway here:

'Important Update for Windows Vista: KB935807 | ITsVISTA'

MS has a post on it to. It is the same, but a little more
complicated.

'MS07-038: Vulnerability in Windows Vista Firewall could allow
information disclosure'

Sorry, I don't know on the language updates. I never got any of those.
You might try right clicking on them to view details and download the
stand alone installer for them to see if that would work.

Thank you,
Shawn

I wish I read this post 2 days ago. I have been in contact with Microsoft
concerning this issue and finally after the 4th fix they got it right. They
had me go about it a little differently. See Below:

"After received your latest reply, I did some more research for this issue,
and found this issue occurs if the LogFiles\Firewall folder is missing or if
the folder is corrupted.

In order to fix it, please follow the steps below:

1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command
Prompt, and then click Run As Administrator.

2. At the command prompt, create the \LogFiles\Firewall folder. For example,
at the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

md %windir%\system32\logfiles\firewall

3. At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER

After that, please try to update again."
