I recently installed the latest Win 10 Update and in the morning it said that there was low space on the laptop. It took me to a utility to recover disk space and the first checkbox was for removing old windows installations. It said something about creating a file like windows.old. I checked to do this and then afterwards removed about 40 GB of video to give plenty of room. I checked windows updates to see if all the updates had been installed and there was one additional one that I did. After it installed, I rebooted and then everything started working very poorly.
There was like a 10 sec delay after clicking before and action was carried out. I tried using the Best Buy Geek Squad ( i bought at Best Buy) remote repair and they spend a couple of hours on it without results. I took it in the Geek Squad and they tried to fix it including what they called an in place windows repair.
While in a program the response seems normal but when you load an app and takes a long time and the CPU goes to 100% even loading Word.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
