Yesterday night my HP desktop window 10 pro updates installed KB 4579311, KB4571756,KB4578968 but i have not update and restart and next morning again i have not update and restart so if any requirement i have always shut down or restart. Now after few hours continuous work my system suddenly hang and blue screen notice saying your device ran into a problem and needs to restart , error info 100 % completed . After few second its restart itself. And i have checked window update this time was showing fail to install. i have doubt with updates so i have checked its showing failed to installed KB 4579311. Also check update have notification error 0xe0000100.
i have keep continue work and again after 2- 3 hrs same thing repeat the system was hanging an same blue screen notice saying your device ran into a problem and needs to restart 100 % completed .
But this time hang long on restart notification and system not restart itself. so i have main power off. And re- power on the screen showing black an on left top corner cursor....and key board' key light of caps lock and scroll key continuous vibrating.
Again i have power off. Same action i have repeated this time windows boot manager notification . window failed to start a recent hardware software error. Error status : 0xc0000185. it's advising to insert your installation disc an restart.
so now windows not able to boot. at urgent i have not installation disc.
so i have tried again power off and continuous press F8 but as before key board' key light of caps lock and scroll key continuous vibrating. i have press F9 this time no response press ESC and suddenly one window notice appeared " please select boot devices.... And from options i have chosen ESC to boot using defaults.
so after black screen window logo appeared and its start. so first i have taken backup of important urgent files back up. And checked from start window the window update settings, history, others window function but actualy now i can not see window functioning on clicking. No response.
before this incident on winver command was showing version 2004 ( OS Build 19041.508)
but now winver command nothing appear.
How i can take back recent installed window version an smooth function before this upate.
i m not tech person but this window update action and my reaction make whole day struggle. kindly advised next action.
