Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse 2.4Ghz - Issue with left(index) mouse button

Hi,

Background information:

Bought my 2nd Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse and Keyboard set because of an issue with the first set after using it for 4-6months.

The issue: (With the 1st and now the 2nd set - the mouse being the focus here)

After 5-6 months, the left mouse button(index finger) appear to misbehave. You have to then start compensating for it by pressing harder, in order to make sure that it stays pressed such as when you "click-and-drag". I am convinced that it's a manufacturing issue, u know, suspect with sub-standard "on-chip-board clickers" below the outside cover. - Anyway i am asking if Microsoft is willing to collect and investigate, or am I again for the 3rd time have to purchase a new mouse and it's not going to be Microsoft mouse.

Another behavior example, is you know you are clicking once, (I hear only one click), but it 50% of the time executes a double click. Such as closing off an email and then closing Outlook because the windows are aligned. Very annoying!

Supplemental:

- Replaced batteries. (Always check batteries first, they say!)

- Cleaned the insides. (Not that there were any dust, or anything)

- Put the 2.4Ghz receiver close to the mouse to prove that it's not signal related. (Less than 15cm to be exact and no external interference from other non-isotopic radio frequency devices).

- Mouse did not fall.

- Mouse was never disciplined(as in throwing it against the wall or like hitting it because it doesn't listen).

- Mouse is only used by me.

- Windows 10 Build 2004 (plus all updates).

- No funny software.

- I cannot return it to sender as distributor covers the 14 day only. - Bla bla.

- No issues with drivers. (Unless it's a BUG of some sorts?)

- I don't sky-dive with it, nor doing any IP68 tests on it.

- It's a normal right-hand doing normal amount of kilometers(miles) and clicks with it, no gaming, no hammering of nails.

- Disappointed due to the cost $$$ and works less than a year.

- I still have both keyboards which are working fine and the mice(mouses?), not working fine.

Conclusion:

- None except, why twice it happened. Who will bother?

- I have already read through This Support Ticket, and this one.

Thank you in advance.
