Hello,
if I try to install the update mentioned above it wont go further than 61%. My system: Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB DDR4 3200, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
Windows: Windows 10 Pro, Version 1903, build 18362.1016
I did my research and figured out that people with a Sennheiser-Headset have problems with the update because the Game Dongle Software seems to cause problems, conexant audio drivers in general seem to have compatibility issues. Ive uninstalled the driver in the device-manager with help from a guide from EPOS, but Im still not able to finish the windows-update. There is no sennheiser-device left in the device-manager now which I could uninstall and the device isnt plugged in at the usb-port so the driver should not be able to reinstall itself.
Other things Ive tried:
Dism.exe + sfc /scannow
net stop
windows troubleshooter (Updates)
I really dont know what causes the update to stop the installation. At first I thought it might be the audio driver but uninstalling and unplugging the device didnt do the trick.
At this point I dont know what to do, pls help.
