Hi
I am having some hardware issues. My touchpad is super sensitive and repeatedly snaps to the last place I clicked/ hovered, causing me to type over/ into what I've already typed, and even opening windows and tabs at random (sometimes when I'm not even touching the machine at all). I would just rather turn off Taps, instead of repairing or replacing the hardware.
I saw a thread on this subject and followed the instructions, but it didn't solve my issue the way it seemed to with the previous person's question. That is, I could not find any setting to address taps in my cursor options when I followed the thread Settings>Personalization>Themes>[Mouse Cursor] and click around the options in the pop-up window.
The only location in settings that I can find any option to adjust Taps is: Settings>Devices>Touchpad, and it does not allow me to turn Taps off, only adjust the sensitivity. I've clicked into every clickable thing under "Touchpad" and "Mouse" and have not seen any way to do more.
Here's a screenshot of what I am describing:
I really need to turn this off. Please help. Thank you.
