My Audio isn't working, and I have been trying for 3 hours. How do I fix this

yes, I have restarted, restored to a previous point, updated drivers, reinstalled drivers, checked for updates, check services and device manager, check sounds tab, (Showing hidden devices as well) And NOTHING has worked.


Dell Precision M4800, 8GB RAM DDR3, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4310M CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2 video cards, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and NVIDIA Quadro K2100M.


The problem is, no audio is coming out from my computer, headphones or otherwise. The current playback device is "Speakers (Virtual Desktop Audio)" And nothing else shows on the playback list. The audio visualizer beside it is responding to audio though. Speakers are not muted, and every program works as if it's playing out the speaker.


In sound, video and game controllers category of device manager, "NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible (WDM)" and "Virtual Desktop Audio" are visible. There are 7 other drivers hidden. In Audio inputs and outputs, there is "Speakers (Virtual desktop audio)" and "Microphone (Virtual Desktop Audio)"
