I just upgraded to Vista Business from XP Professional and my automatic
backup failed with this message "Catastrophic error (0x8000FFFF). I back up
to an external hard drive. I have a Compaq Presario notebook with an AMD
processor that I purchased in December.
Thx.

Solution Found:
Under an earlier post on 6/7/07 Jill Zoeller provided a link to the
following info that solved this problem.

The first directions didn't work but I scrolled down further and found I had
to add a backslash to the command to fix the issue. Then it worked.

Thanks.
