Application Data Folder

In Documents and Settings folder resides Application Data Folder, it has at
least 3 gigs of file space used up, my question is, what affect does it have
on the applications listed and can you safely delete any of the folders and
their contents. On one of my other computers this Application Data Folder
does not exist?

Thanks

Hello,

Do not delete the Application Data folder.

But you can delete the individual folders in them if you have removed the
corresponding program in your system.

For example, if you uninstall Skype, you may still have the Skype folder in
your Application Data folder which you can safely delete if you don't need
any of the settings/history left behind.
