Removed the ONE DRIVE folder from PC Now desktop icons have X's and shortcuts are shaded. Files have BLUE circles in the status column.

Trying to take control from One Drive on my PC I deleted the folder. Now on my Desktop all the program icons have a small 'X' in the bottom left hand corner and all the file shortcut icons are shaded (half brightness). Also I have lots of files with a double arrow BLUE CIRCLE in the Status column. Under PROPERTIES on these files they show they belong to "C:\Users\bass_\OneDrive\Desktop", but I don't have a ONE DRIVE folder on the PC anymore. I would like to get back to square 0 where I was before I tried to do a backup to a external drive and One Drive was a problem. I have gone to the One Drive web site and done a restore on the RECYCLE bin but only put some files back on the website version and did not restore ONE DRIVE on my PC. I am now doing a restore on the recycle bin on the PC but that has not finished as of yet.
