I am using Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.1016] OS build 18363.1016) windows pro.
I cannot open my settings in windows 10. And therefore I cannot run programs much needed. For example Windows update. And restore system to a previous point. So I am stuck. I tried to repair this with sfc but that program also doesnot work. Can anybody help me?
- When I open commandprompt and do: sfc /scannow, I get: Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.
- When I do:sc config trustedinstaller start= auto, I Get: [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS
- When I do:net start trustedinstaller, I get: system error : file or folder is corrupted or unreadable .
When I try to start trustedinstaller from the services directory it says the same.
Can someone help me please ?
