Hi for the last 4 days, my laptop crashes several times a day. We had a power outage in the neighborhood a few days ago, and that is when the crashes started. It just shuts down and doesn't restart.
my hardware details:
AMD a12-9700p Radeon R7
windows home 10 (just updated to latest Oct 2020 version)
64 bit OS
Laptop has been running well for 3 years with no problems, but suddenly crashes all the time. Especially when playing videos online or offline.
But it also crashed when i opened and used an app.
When i disabled "hardware acceleration" feature in my browser, the video playback crashes stopped.
I am not a gamer, so no issues there.
I have updated all my drivers using a paid third party app called Driver Booster. So that should be fine.
I ran a S.M.A.R.T test on my SSD hard disk and it was fine. Firmware is up to date.
I ran windows trouble shoot diagnostics on pretty much everything, and no problems there.
I did a clean reboot. Turned off all services except Microsoft and rebooted, but crashes still persist.
I am at a loss here.....any help would be greatly appreciated.
