Lost Windows 10 after reset

My HP laptop was upgraded when Windows 10 rolled out and have been using it since. I did a clean reset of my laptop yesterday and the laptop is back to Windows 8.


Using my recovery partition doesn't help.


Tried F11 and there was no option to go back to Windows 10.


Downloaded download the Media Creation Tool in my USB and rebooted using this USB. Got the message "The upgrade option isn't available if you start your computer using Windows installation media."


Please suggest how I can upgrade back to Windows 10.
