Unable to connect to remote machine using SMB 1.0

MymsMan

For many years I have been able to create a network share for a remote disk running on a linux system (a Humax HDR Fox T2 PVR). This only supports SMB 1.0 so I have enabled SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support - Client via Turn Windows features on or off.

This has been working well on my Windows 10 Pro system but has recently started to fail with

The device or resource (HUMAX) is not set up to accept connections on port "The File and printer sharing (SMB)".

I am still able to connect to the disk from another (Win 10 Home) PC and from my phone and have checked that Samba is running on the Humax.

Apart from routine Windows updates I am not aware of any changes on PC or Humax likely to affect networking.

Any advice on how to solve this problem would be gratefully received.

The detailed diagnostics report shows

Very unhelpfully the diagnosis log does not automatically open in the event viewer or give any clue as to its location :(

I am not sure how to interpret the event viewer output
