Does Window have a picture player? Something that cycles through a folder
and displays a picture every x seconds.

Find the folder containing your images in Windows Explorer, and click
on the View drop-down and select "Filmstrip". Select one of the
images, right-click, and click "Slideshow". Now click the screen icon
at the bottom of the window and the slides will cycle automatically.

You can also get the free image viewer Irfanview (www.irfanview.com),
which includes this ability.

If I right click on an image, the menu shows no Slideshow choice. I can find
a Preview. Ah, there it is along the bottom of Preview, Start Slide Show.

Very good. Thanks.

Glad it worked, and sorry for the convoluted instructions. I'm doing
this on a laptop running Vista, and I had to run into the other room
to check the desktop with XP, then try to remember what I did. And the
other machine has Paintshop Pro to handle images, which makes the
choices a bit different I think. I knew my directions were a bit
cloudy, I hoped you'd figure it out.
