Malfunction in my Computer

My computer freezes when transparent bubbles like the icons appearing when you touch the screen using your finger appear on my screen, usually at a random moment of time. The computer then starts malfunctioning and carrying out actions on its own. I have scanned for virus but they did not detect any, and the touchpad driver is the latest update so there doesn't seem to be a problem with the computer. But this happens sometimes. The computer is new as well.
