Dear Good Samaritans
My ACER laptop network suddenly stops working. The symptoms are: Only Google sites and some other sites are accessible. All others will return the error: DNS PROBE FINISHED NXDOMAIN. All other mobile devices and the other Thinkpad work fine in the same network.
The router is Telekom Speedport.
I have tried:
1. Restart Router/Modem.
2. Reinstall and Rollback Qualcomm Atheros Driver
3. Checking DHCP client in registry/in task manager/in command prompt, the result is access denied. But it is currently automatic.
4. Wired client and WLAN client in registry, all automatic. Not helpful.
5. ipconfig/release and renew: can't connect DHCP
6. netshell commands: not helpful.
7. Network reset: not helpful
8. Troubleshooter: returns different answers, sometimes no valid IP, sometimes no DNS, sometimes no problems.
9. Router firmware update: does not affect anything
10. Windows update to 20H2
Can anyone help me with this persistent issue?
EDIT: My current IP is 165XXX. I think the DHCP has errors.
