Default Applications

Every time there's a Windows Update, Microsoft resets my Default Apps to Microsoft Preferred, i.e. Edge, when I use Chrome, and also my preferred Media Player, keeps defaulting after I reset it to WMP... Everytime, I have to manually reset my favorites because I choose not to use what Microsoft prefers...this is very annoying, and more annoying every time I have to do it...but as sure as the sun rises, after every fricking update, boom! I have to spend 5-10 minutes getting everything right again...VERY ANNOYING, TO SAY THE LEAST!
