Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 5000 not working

Hello,


After years of trouble free operation, I am having an issue with my Wireless Comfort Keyboard set.


-Wireless Comfort Keyboard 5000 (Model 1394)

-Wireless Comfort Mouse 5000 (Model 1387)


I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.


The mouse is working fine, but the keyboard is not functioning properly. I have replaced batteries, updated to latest "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center" (Version 13). This software is recognizing that the keyboard is connected via the wireless dongle and says it is working correctly.

The only keys that work normally on the keyboard are the volume keys, insert, page down and the enter key on the number pad. The following keys create an incorrect response:


G - types "g7"

H - types "h8"

' - types "'9"

Right side CTRL key starts the Groove Music app.


I have tried this keyboard on 2 other computers, all running Windows 10. All of the errors carry to the other machines.


Any help would be appreciated.
